I found this website very useful whilst looking into my research for Last Supper.
David LaChappelle created a series of images called 'Jesus Is My Homeboy'
(see images below)
'LaChapelle's work has been described as surrealist, grotesque, shocking and ironic'.
These series of images are surreal and satirical, they make you think.
During this research I found that LaChappelle put 'gangsters' with jesus, subsequently portraying the effect religion still has on the 'hip hop'
cultured youths.
