Evaluation

During this project I have learnt many things about working in a group,
about photoshop, using flash and organisation.

To start off i found it extremely difficult to be part of a group as we all had conflicting ideas and could not come to any common ground. We had many group discussions but it seemed everyone was saying what they wanted to do, and not really understanding or listening to others ideas, which really did not help us get anything done.

After many disagreements we knew we just had to get on with the project and find some way of understangin eachothers ideas. We each brought in artists and ideas for the others to see, we then narrowed it down to 3 ideas due to practicallity.

We then each come together to go out on shoots for each idea.
It was very difficult to get a time to shoot when we were all free at the same time, concequently this delayed our project which then made it hard for me to be able to stick anything in our group work book. We then decided we would just have to go out with whoever is free and then the persons who werent avaliable for the photoshoot would have to catch up with the people who did attend and find out what was positive and negative about the shoot.

Throughout this project we had difficulties with the metz flash syncing with our cameras, which lead to us having a limited amount of images to work with.

I have also found it extremely difficult to get research, contact sheets and writing about these things from some members of the group which then because very stressful for me to try and projuce anything of any quality for the group work book, therefore making this part of the project very unappealing for me, as i usually enjoy presenting my works.

I have really enoyed sharing photoshop skills with other members of the group as we each learnt new ways of editing our images.
As the project went on, I found more and more common ground with other members of the group and had clear links between our ideas, allowing us to share research with eachother. Towards the end I was pleased with the the majority of the group pulling together to shoot, edit and produce the best image that we would in the circumstances.

I believe this project will help me in the future to be able to work in a group.
Every group will have its difficulties but now i am able to refer back to this experience and see how we resolved these issues which my turn up in the future.
